House Hardyng is a noble house from the
Vale of Arryn. They blazon their arms with a field of red and white diamonds.
History
Ser Humfrey Hardyng participated in the
tourney at Ashford Meadow in 209 AC, beginning the tourney as one of the
champions. He remained a champion, even after Prince Aerion Targaryen killed
his horse. Humfrey took Ser Duncan the Tall's side in the trial of seven. He
was severely injured and later died of his wounds.

Harrold Hardyng is the ward of Lady Anya
Waynwood. He is the heir presumptive of the Vale should anything befall Lord
Robert Arryn. Harrold takes part in a small melee held at Runestone only for
squires. He wins the melee and is knighted by Lord Yohn Royce as his reward.
