Game of Thrones: History and Geography of House Webber


House Webber of Coldmoat is a noble house from Coldmoat in the Reach. It is sworn to House Rowan. Their lands used to border those of House Osgrey.
Their blazon is a black field with a spotted spider on a silver web.

History
Lord Reynard Webber once ruled Coldmoat.
Lord Wyman Webber fought at the Battle of the Redgrass Field, where his squire, the first husband of Wyman's daughter Lady Rohanne Webber, died. Rohanne's third husband was Ser Simon Staunton and her fourth was Ser Rolland Uffering.
Rohanne, Lady of Coldmoat, married Ser Eustace Osgrey in order to keep Coldmoat from going to her cousin, Wendell Webber, who was married to Lord Rowan's sister.

Recent Events
A Dance with Dragons
Webber, a sellsword with the Windblown who is decorated with spider tattoos, is said to nurse a claim to lost lands in Westeros.

History
House Moreland is an ancient line of First Men origin, boasting descent from the legendary Pate the Plowman.

Lord Robin Moreland is among those gathered to escort the corpse of Lord Tywin Lannister from King's Landing back to Casterly Rock. He wears russet and green with a cloak of crimson silk.

Hallis Mollen is made the new captain of the guards at Winterfell after the departure of Jory Cassel. Hallis guards Catelyn Stark during the battle in the Whispering Wood.

A Clash of Kings
Hallis travels south with Catelyn to meet Renly Baratheon. Catelyn sends Hallis north with the bones of her dead husband, Lord Eddard Stark.

The Winds of Winter
The sons and grandsons of Lady Mary Mertyns initially support Renly Baratheon during the War of the Five Kings, with a grandson wounded in the Battle of the Blackwater. Since the Mertyns men are away, Mistwood falls to the Golden Company during their invasion of the stormlands. Young John Mudd and Chains keep Mary under house arrest and host Arianne Martell for a night.

Game of Thrones: History and Geography of Crakehall


Crakehall or Crakehall Castle is the seat of House Crakehall in the southwestern westerlands. It is located on the Searoad along the Sunset Sea, south of Lannisport and north of Old Oak. Cornfield and Red Lake are east of Crakehall. There is a large forest in the vicinity of the castle.

History
When he learned that his son and daughter, Aegon and Rhaena, were under siege at Crakehall, King Aenys I Targaryen collapsed and died three days later.
Prince Oberyn Martell and his sister Princess Elia visited Crakehall on their way to Casterly Rock where their mother attempted to broker their marriages to the Lannister twins, Cersei and Jaime. Jaime and Merrett Frey were both squires at Crakehall.

Game of Thrones: History and Geography of House Ambrose


House Ambrose is a noble house from the Reach.
They blazon their arms as a yellow field strewn with red ants. According to semi-canon sources their motto is "Never Resting".

History
In 42 AC Ser Aegon Ambrose, a knight of the Warrior's Sons, took part in the trial of seven in which seven of the Warrior's Sons faced King Maegor I Targaryen and his six champions. He died during the battle.
During the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons, Marq Ambrose was loyal to King Aegon II Targaryen. He was a member of the Caltrops, supporters of Aegon II who plotted to dispose of Ulf the White and Hugh Hammer. Marq suggested that, since both Ulf the White and Hugh Hammer were dragonriders, they would kill the men only after taking King's Landing from the forces of Rhaenyra Targaryen, but Richard Rodden insisted that such a plan would be dishonorable. Marq was later slain during the Second Battle of Tumbleton.
Ser Aubrey Ambrose was named by Eustace Osgrey as one of the outstanding supporters of the Daemon I Blackfyre's cause.

Recent Events
A Clash of Kings
House Ambrose follow their Tyrell overlords in declaring for Renly Baratheon on the outset of the War of the Five Kings. While on the march with Renly's army, Ser Edmund Ambrose is one of the knights who start the wager on the maidenhood of Brienne of Tarth, bringing her flowers and offering to ride with her. Brienne eventually discovers the wager, after which she seeks Edmund out during the melee at Bitterbridge and defeats him.
After Renly's death, the Ambroses again follow the Tyrells, marching with the Tyrell-Lannister army at the Battle of the Blackwater. The squire Alyn Ambrose slays a Myrish crossbowman and a Mullendore man-at-arms during the fighting.

A Storm of Swords
Elinor Tyrell is betrothed to Alyn Ambrose, a son of Lord Arthur Ambrose.
Ambrose men march with Lord Randyll Tarly to pacify the crownlands after the victory at the Blackwater.

A Feast for Crows
Brienne of Tarth spots horse trappings bearing the ants of Ambrose among the gear collected from the dead after the Battle of Duskendale.
